Terms of Service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms cover your use of ClassPilot. The short version: ClassPilot drafts work for you to review, everything it produces is your responsibility, and you must not submit anything you have not checked.
What ClassPilot is
ClassPilot connects to your Google Classroom account, lists the coursework assigned to you, reads the attachments your teacher provided, and uses an AI model to prepare draft work. It can create a Google Doc in your Drive containing that draft. It can run this check automatically on a schedule you set.
ClassPilot does not submit anything to Google Classroom. It cannot. It links you back to Classroom so that turning work in is always an action you take yourself.
Your responsibility for the work
Work produced by ClassPilot is a draft. You are the author of anything you submit. Review every draft before you use it, and edit it into your own work.
Your school, teacher, or institution decides what use of AI assistance is permitted. Those rules are between you and them, and ClassPilot does not know them. Using ClassPilot in a way that breaks your school’s academic integrity policy is a decision you are making, and the consequences are yours.
AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be correct
The model that produces these drafts can be confidently wrong. It can invent facts, misread an attachment, misunderstand a question, produce faulty reasoning, or get arithmetic wrong. ClassPilot reports a confidence value from the model; that value is the model’s own estimate and is not a verification.
ClassPilot makes no guarantee that a draft is accurate, complete, original, appropriate for your assignment, or suitable for submission. Do not submit a draft you have not read and checked.
Your account and its security
Your ClassPilot account is tied to the Google account you signed in with. Keep that Google account secure. Anyone who can sign into it can reach your ClassPilot data and the Google data ClassPilot is authorised to read. Do not share access to it.
Sign in only with an account you are entitled to use, and only where your school allows third-party apps to reach Classroom data.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use ClassPilot with an account that is not yours.
- Attempt to reach another student’s coursework, submissions, or Drive files through ClassPilot.
- Try to get around the Google authorization ClassPilot was granted, or around your Google Workspace administrator’s restrictions.
- Probe, overload, scrape or interfere with the service, or use it to place automated load on Google or OpenAI beyond ordinary personal use.
- Use ClassPilot to produce content that is unlawful, or that harasses or harms others.
- Use ClassPilot where your school or institution has forbidden it.
Third-party Google services
ClassPilot depends on Google Classroom, Google Drive and Google Docs. Those services are Google’s, governed by Google’s terms, and outside ClassPilot’s control. Your Google Workspace for Education administrator can block or revoke ClassPilot’s access at any time, and Google may change or restrict its APIs. Any of these can stop ClassPilot from working, with no notice.
You can withdraw ClassPilot’s authorization at any time, from Settings or from your Google account’s third-party app permissions.
Billing
ClassPilot offers two paid plans: Pro at $14.99 per month and Max at $29.99 per month. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Charges recur monthly for the plan shown at checkout until the subscription is cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges and does not refund the current period unless stated otherwise at the point of sale. ClassPilot never receives or stores your card details.
Free trial. If your account is eligible, a new Pro or Max subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. You need to add a valid payment method to start the trial, but no subscription charge is due during it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to the monthly paid plan you selected, at the price shown at checkout, and then renews every month until you cancel.
If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged for the subscription, and you keep access until the trial ends. Each ClassPilot account can receive the free trial only once.
The price, trial length, renewal terms, and other billing details shown at checkout are the terms that apply to that purchase.
Plan limits on AI usage apply as displayed in the app.
Availability and changes
ClassPilot is provided as it is, without a service level commitment. Features may change or be withdrawn. Scheduled automation runs on a best-effort basis and can be delayed or missed if Google, OpenAI, or the hosting provider is unavailable.
Termination
You may stop using ClassPilot at any time by disconnecting Google or deleting your account in Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your stored data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Access may be suspended or terminated for a breach of these terms, or where continuing to provide the service would breach Google’s or OpenAI’s terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ClassPilot is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, ClassPilot’s operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for lost data, lost work, missed deadlines, or academic penalties arising from your use of the service or from any draft it produced.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions. Where that is the case, they apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use ClassPilot after a change means the updated terms apply.
